How to get jewelry with gems from your own horses hoof trimmings.
Just follow the instructions to mail them to us.

All items on this website are available as a "Custom Equinite" item using your own horse hoof material.

1. Under the catagory "Options" select the item "Custom Equinite" and click the "Add to Cart" button.
2. Click "Add to Cart" on all the jewelry items that you want to order and then go checkout.
3. Follow the instructions below to send us your clippings.  Use the Custom order form when sending clippings.

That's it.  We will hold your order untill we receive your hoof material.

 

Instructions for mailing in your clippings.
We need a 1/4 inch thick, solid trimming from the hoof to get a good 8mm gem. The material must be cleaned and sanitized before mailing.  Send as much as you can.
1.  Scrub hoof trimmings in soap and water with a stiff brush until it is clean.
2.  Soak trimmings in 3/4 cup of bleach in one gallon of water for 20 minutes. 
3.  Rinse and air dry the trimming for one day.
4.  Double seal hoof trimmings in 2 ziplock bags and mail to us at:
